Bake Sale - Wednesday 11th March 2026

Our kura is having a Bake Sale on Wednesday 11th March, join in as one of the bakers and come along to purchase other's tasty goods as well :)

All baked goods to be handed in to the office the morning of March 11th.

All goods will be sold for $2 a slice/piece - so save up those gold coins.

Sale will start from 9.30am until 3.15pm or until sold

Waterview Primary School is fundraising to support the wellbeing and belonging of our tamariki by providing sensory equipment for focus and emotional regulation, topping up our kapa haka uniforms so every child can participate with pride, and purchasing resources that strengthen Te Reo Māori and tikanga learning.

How will this fundraiser work? We have chosen to run a Go Raise It Hot Cross Bun fundraiser. Made by South Island Bakeries in Christchurch using quality New Zealand flour, these delicious Hot Cross Buns come in three tempting varieties: traditional, chocolate, and a new Low Carb option made with almond flour, coconut flour, and naturally sweetened with monk fruit. They arrive frozen on pick up day so they stay fresh longer! By running our product sales campaign online, it makes it super easy for everyone - no more door knocking, your family can fundraise from home - no need to worry about handling all that cash and keeping track of orders. You simply sign up on the fundraising website, share the link with family and friends and they can arrange to collect their products from you at the end of the fundraiser.

How do I sign up to fundraise online? Each fundraiser can sign up for their very own fundraising web page to send out to friends and family to collect sales.

Ideas for promoting/selling:

• Share your fundraising page around your workplace/colleagues and tell them a date when you will bring their purchases for collection

• Use the links on your fundraising page to share with friends/family via email & social media

• For family & friends who don’t live locally – offer to give their purchase to a local charity you support

What happens at the end of the fundraiser? Check your fundraising website for final day for sales and pick up date. Your school/club fundraising manager will be in touch with you regarding further details for your pick up day and where you can collect all your products. Before pickup day, you will be sent a report (to your registered email) showing all the supporters who have purchased from your fundraising web page and what items/quantities they have purchased. You pickup all the products sold on your fundraising page and arrange to get them to your supporters.
